Our Leadership
Josh Odom
Ministry Director
Hey y’all! My name is Josh Odom, and I am the ministry director here at the Freeda Harris Baptist Center (FHBC). I serve in this position alongside my wife, Tamia, who I get to tell you more about below. I am currently a student of Southeastern Seminary where I am pursuing a Master’s of Divinity in Missiology. My background is in Agricultural Education as I hold a degree in this subject matter from the University of Georgia. I have been involved in ministry since 2015 in various leadership roles ranging from volunteer roles to full-time ministerial positions. At the end of 2023 the Lord began to call my family to Eastern Kentucky, and more specifically to the FHBC. We arrived in May of 2024, and though it has been a short time, we see God working here everyday. It is my hope and prayer that those who come to serve, and those who are served see Christ in all that we do!
Tamia & Ezekiel
This is my family! I couldn’t do any of this without them. Tamia and I have been married since December of 2019, and in 2023 we welcomed our son Ezekiel. Tamia is also a student at Southeastern Seminary where she is pursuing a Master’s of Divinity in Christian Ethics. She has a background in Rural Community Development and has been putting that knowledge to work since we have been here. Tamia does a ton of work for the FHBC behind the scenes. I thank the Lord for her and all that she does.
